About BTC Group

BTC was established by husband and wife team Ashok and Rekha Sodha. In 1986 they launched a business providing start-up finance, business support and premises sourcing to help those moving to the UK to set up their own retail enterprises. After a few years of growth they realised that one element of their work stood out as both far more exciting to them and most useful to their clients. So, in 1991, they renamed the business BTC Commercial and focused on all things commercial property related.

By the time their son Ricky joined them in the family business in 2002 they had expanded the commercial side to nine staff and helped hundreds of local, national and international clients to find the business premises they needed. Ricky came from an estate agency background and he brought with him a new energy and direction. They took over the offices next door and launched BTC Lettings and Management.

Today BTC are thriving national commercial agents, and local letting agents covering the Bounds Green, Wood Green, Arnos Grove, Edmonton, Palmers Green, Southgate, Enfield, Tottenham and Barnet areas. We manage over 800 rented properties throughout the North London area and have departments for lettings, maintenance, property management, accounts and rent collections, inspections, arrears, and commercial. We introduced ‘Guaranteed Rents’ to the BTC portfolio of services in 2014 to take the stress and risk out of letting a property for everyone from first-time landlords to investors and property portfolio managers.

We may have almost doubled in size over the last few years, but we’re still a family business at heart, with Ricky and Ashok at the helm, committed to client care and the best of advice. Our teams mission is to deliver a high level of property management service. We aim to take away all of our landlords property management headaches via introducing the best possible tenant to the property, then ensuring your tenant looks after your investment to a high standard, which we monitor via inspecting your property quarterly and being the sole contact point between tenant and landlord to proactively mediate and settle any issues that may arise or can potentially arise.
